ADAPTING TO CHANGE WITH RESILIENCE
Thank you for being a part of our community.
July 11, 2021
Dear participants, volunteers, and friends:
Thank you for being part of Health Coaching Without Barriers (formerly Health Coaches Without Borders*) during this last year! We have mutually benefited from serving and being served, coaching and being coached, and working together to improve our resiliency during the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the coronavirus ramped up, providing pro-bono health coaching felt like the most important thing we could do in support of our friends, families, and global community. Our goal was to provide pro bono health coaching to people who could not otherwise afford this type of support, which we came to see as a need and not a luxury, especially during a global pandemic. Please take a moment to click here and read more of what we accomplished together along the way so you can celebrate with us in spirit.
Knowing our own limitations as health coaches with other jobs, responsibilities, and differing levels of disability and capacity has led us to the difficult decision to bring this project to a close at this time. It has been an honor to serve during what is surely one of the most difficult periods of our century.
We look forward to future opportunities to provide support to communities large and small as they arise.
Thank you for your support and participation.

*Due to a legal request from Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, we have now changed the name of our project to Health Coaching Without Barriers. Our website will remain as an archive where information on our project will remain for online access.
Provide pro bono health coaching to people who are disproportionately impacted by or at risk for COVID-19 due to chronic health conditions or social inequities, and in doing so, help foster health equity.
We are a team of over 50 certified functional health coaches spanning eight countries over four continents.
